1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Bibliofile (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

2. User Accounts

When you create an account with us, you must provide information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms, which may result in immediate termination of your account on our Service.

You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access the Service and for any activities or actions under your password. You must notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.

3. User-Generated Content

Our Service allows you to post reviews, ratings, reading lists, and other content ("Content"). You retain all your rights to any Content you submit, post, or display on or through the Service, and you are responsible for protecting those rights.

By posting Content on the Service, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, modify, publicly perform, publicly display, reproduce, and distribute such Content on and through the Service.

You agree not to post Content that is illegal, offensive, harassing, discriminatory, or infringes on the intellectual property rights of others. We reserve the right to remove any Content that violates these Terms without prior notice.

4. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content (excluding User-Generated Content), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Bibliofile and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

Book data, cover images, and other metadata are used for informational and commentary purposes. Cover images may be subject to copyright by their respective authors or publishers, and their use on Bibliofile falls under fair use guidelines.

5. Third-Party Links and Advertising

Our Service may contain links to third-party web sites or services that are not owned or controlled by Bibliofile. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party web sites or services.

We use third-party advertising companies (such as Google AdSense) to serve ads when you visit our website. These companies may use information about your visits to this and other websites in order to provide advertisements about goods and services of interest to you.

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Bibliofile, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the Service; (iii) any content obtained from the Service; and (iv) unauthorized access, use or alteration of your transmissions or content.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. WE MAKE NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, AND HEREBY DISCLAIM AND NEGATE ALL OTHER WARRANTIES INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT OF INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY OR OTHER VIOLATION OF RIGHTS.

7. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

8. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
